Food Industry Equipment Move Objective: Dismantle skid and crate food processing equipment as necessary to protect it during transportation from Chicago, IL to Florida. Specialty Tasks:
- A 32’ skid was built to carry and protect a 30’ oven for flexing during loading, transportation and unloading.
- Cut up and mark for reassembly a 20’ by 15’ stainless steel mezzanine.

Announcement American Industrial Werks is happy to welcome to its staff Mr. David Helms and crew formally of Pioneer Industrial Services, Inc. With 32 years of experience in demolition, Mr. Helms will be managing demolition sales and operations. Focused on servicing factories, schools, commercial and office buildings, general contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors Mr. Helms brings a new level of experience and expertise to the dismantling and removal of boilers, A/C units, tanks, interior & exterior steel structures, piping, and electrical equipment.
Food Industry Oven Installation Objective: Install a 40’ tunnel oven. Tasks: The oven arrived in two sections on low boy trucks due to the height. To get each oven section into the building, a crane was used to lift then they were pulled through the doorway. Each section was dollied into position then set and aligned on preinstalled pedestals.
Services Used: Rigging and machinery moving.
Plant Relocation Objective: Relocate machinery for local Chicago area move. Tasks: Safely move nine CNC mills and lathes with bar feeders ten miles for a facility consolidation. Crews secured sensitive electrical equipment for transport and brought in a 26,000 lb forklift to safely handle loading and unloading of the machinery.
Services Used: Rigging, machinery moving, and heavy haul trucking.
Printing Relocation and Installation Objective: Dismantle, relocate, and Install screen printing machine. Tasks: Crews were tasked with disassembling, skidding/crating and loading the machine for transport. The crew that disassembled the machine then traveled from Chicago to Arkansas to unload, set, install, level, and align the machine.
